Ted, <He's taken what was an unknown chip, the Athlon, from what was considered a second rate company, and in the space of year, turned it into an increasingly popular microprocessor while making it possible for AMD to garner more and more respect in the PC world.> Personally, I'd give credit where credit is due, to the K7 design and validation team and to the key engineers like Dirk Meyer and Fred Weber.
