"serious hunter and sportsman" -- in New York State I have a hunting license. I guess that makes me serious.
I do not object to getting a license - I would not object to getting a license to owning hand guns, antique guns, plinking guns, etc. as long as the license would cover all of my guns. -- I really think licensing should be up to your State. I can't see this as an national election issue.
