I would hope that you care if the person you are supporting can be shown to be a consistent liar. What he tells you and/or what you believe his priorities are might just be what he says to win your heart. If he is shown to have...uhmmm...let's just say, an "active imagination"...your image of him could be totally different from the real Gore.

He has publicly criticised Hollywood for its morals, yet ask yourself, where does he get his money - Hollywood or Harlem?
Maybe Barbara Streisand will be our ambassador to the UN if Gore wins. She could negotiate a middle east peace deal by singing, "People who need people, are the luckiest people in the world". And the Chinese government guys will be singing along, ...."are the ruckiest people...."
