But by the time Sludgepumper is out, P4 will have migrated to .13u as well. You left that out. With 2GHz expected on .18u, .13u should be very exciting.

That's true, but the Hammer family will not be on .18u for too long.

You haven't seen the most optimistic scenario.

You keep hinting at these most optimistic scenarios, and keep falling on your face as Intel lets you down again and again. What is the most optimistic scenarion now?

I think Tualatin will be a good notebook chip, but on desktop, the odds will be against it, and by the time it is out, Intel will be attempting to move on to P4 core in servers.
