I do believe you are absolutely correct. They are doing it in steps. That is the way totalitarian governments are built. I was in Germany for 3 years and the Germans said with Hitler he, like Gore, promised everything. A Volkswagen in every garage. People initially liked him because he promised them much. Once he had his Gestapo in place the people were neutralized. In a police state you can't talk like we are talking. You speak to your neighbor and he reports you and you disappear. Once the people are scared and can't communicate with each other on issues and have to just parrot the party line it is all over. The people become sheep and even though they are in great majority they are controlled by the totalitarian government bullies. Frankly, I am scared if we continue electing people like Clinton and Gore. We are headed down the slippery slope to something that isn't good.
