I don't know your work history but many times in my career I have had projects that I have been working on Capitalized when they clearly should have been expensed. Cooking the books has been going on for many many years and most management people are aware of it. Speaking out IS dangerous to ones lively hood. You don't tow the line you tow your car .<<<ggg>>>

"FORCE" companies to seek payback in one year ! Ten (10) years ago I was held to one year, shortly there after I had to have projects PB in 9 months. When the bean counters started to head the corp. things started to slide backwards, payback became the quick way to (short term ) profit. The $$$ and profit the only thing they understood eng. was a pain in the (a$$) profit . Then are industries started to loose the technology edge became uncompetitive, they blamed the average joe for this (no pun intended) and got away with it several more years. This usually appeased the "greedy gods" and the CEO got his BONEASS and saved his a$$ at the expense of the unsuspecting share holders !
Well the pendulum has swung the other way as of late, but as soon as the "greedy gods " come back so will the bean counters.

Q. Did anyone think for one minute Bay St. was ever going to co-operate with NDP. ( no brainer NAR )

Q. Are unions a result of managements indiscretions.

Q. Should union be rep. in the board rooms of the nations.

Q. How should we control and regulate insider trading.

Now before you answer skip the part where you tell me I'm an lib. NDP leftie whatever, we all know that by now !
Try to advance the discussion.
