God bless you! The strategic reserves were for another era long past. There is a 30 day supply at best and dumping some on the market lacked one integral component, BUYERS. There is no real oil shortage there is a supply problem. The threat of the Strategic Oil Reserves was always big, actually opening it up shows how little they understand the most important market in the world. Thanks to Clinton nobody can play that card effectively again.

A lot of the so called "big oil" camp is secretly hoping Gore gets elected. Don't forget what Papa Bear Bush did to the price of oil after the Gulf war.
