Based on forward guidance, seems Q4 is being raised from .57 to .61.

Therefore, given the aforementioned forecasted performance we expect operating income to progress from approximately 27 percent in the first quarter to approximately 31 percent by the fourth quarter of 2001.

Cymer models net other expense at $1,200,000 per quarter and the company's tax rate for 2001 is currently estimated to be 33 percent.

I'm curious what these details of "net other expense" are?

Operating Income is increasing from 24-25% in 2000 to avg. 29% in 2001, taxes go up from 29% to 33%. This neutralizes the earnings, which would say earnings rise 35-40% with the revenue. Based on current estimate of 58% rise in earnings, this could be viewed as a lowered estimate.
