Did I miss the type of channel adapters Brocade was using? If it were EMLX or JNIC, I should see a corresponding PR from them, right? Wouldn't that be ironic Brocade was using QLGC's adapters?

RE: Nortel and QLogic

This is a plus from a competition standpoint. Nortel has been working with CMNT - see posts 725, 722, 726, and especially 727 on that thread. We know from the Ancor days that CMNT is in the Brocade camp.

At the minimum this suggests that Nortel realizes there will be a significant installed base of QLogic FC that might need to be connected.

It could just have been another Brocade release today.
