If its a rumor, then several million people heard it on CNBC and acted on it.

Not to mention the Emulex hoax a couple of months ago. I'm not a Rambus shareholder, but I do own shares of royalty play Emulex in the HBA FC/GE market. It was not a pleasant experience as the bogus news report hit. The eventual handling of the event by CNBC was some of the finest reporting and coverage I had ever seen.

I haven't heard the Rambus 'rumor' as I'm carving a pumpkin at the moment. Well, the kids are doing it, I'm just cleaning up what lands on the floor. Was the report legally obtained in terms of the Intel roadmap?

I was reported as a rumor by CNBC. Surely you can at least hold yourself to CNBC's standards.
