Seems odd that NT, CSCO, ALA, JDSU, GLW, etc all say that things are going well and are expecting continued... if not accelerating growth... and yet the analysts keep referring to telco slowdown in spending.

Seems to me someone is weaving a tale and given the exposure to potential lawsuits I have to assume it's not the above companies. And, it seems that if I was an analyst and I wanted shares cheap I'd bash the sector going into tax loss selling season and a notorious October to have the most effect.

Just seems odd that the vendors are all optimistic and the analysts are not. Then you have to ask yourself..who do you think has the most to gain/lose ... something to think about. Maybe the bears have this one wrong. Hey, it could be ;-)
