I think Bush is trying to help to rebuild the Calif. Republican party and help their candidates for Congress. I think he thinking about what he will have to work with in Congress if he wins. Although I have heard that internal Bush polls have a 4 point race in CA, I find that hard to believe. But, again Gore is headed their too. So who knows.
