More info on this problem. The issue is due to a hardware problem with Comstock's Telco. We have heard no ETA for a correction, so our servers are switching to a 128k satellite backup.

qcom_datadept: Thank goodness I am on vacation this week. Just plugged in long enough to check a few longer-term holdings and saw your post...

Assuming the following post was truthful, Quote.Com has had the yoke on its back since May...

Assuming the above post was truthful, Quote.Com has been testing this new IP Feed from Comstock for over six months AND it still doesn't work properly...a pathetic performance at best! IMO it is time to flush out the current tech group and hire some folks that "actually" know what they are doing.

By the way how is that new server farm coming along? You know the one Gibbons Burke spoke about back in Dec 99.

How many servers does Quote.Com actually have in operation at this time? Does each server URL represent an actual server or a router? Time to fess up...

At the rate Quote.Com is getting the servers installed, they will be two or three generations behind by the time you get them up and running. Just a quick note...that black cord with the three-pronged plug is the power plug...<g>
