Took a large long position in LU this morn, FWIW. I think it's tested 20 enough times to call a bottom on it. Looking for an entry into MCD for my boy's acct. Been out of that one for a year and a half.

Dennis, thanks for the kind words...at the moment we may see a bit of a self-fulfilling prophesy at work in the market. in the very short term, the prospect of the seasonally favorable period directly ahead will likely lend support to the market. but the REAL buy point...the one where i'd recommend to go whole hog and LONG with capital letters, will likely come only at a later stage...once we've seen a true wash-out, coupled with deeply negative sentiment. bear markets are tricky to navigate...and this one's trickier than most. regards, hb
