And I was just pointing out that Newbridge is an integral component of ALA today; that there is no logical basis for separating growth of products resulting from its R&D.

I'd further observe that the financial statements have been restated to allow anyone to see what the growth has been; and then there's the company's guidance for high 30s growth.
And Serge also said that he just loves giving guidance than handily beating it.

Do you really think that you can come up with a better estimate by discounting growth that might arise from acquisitions? especially from those acquisitions which are already established with highly successful products???

each to their own.

Ian.

Telecom, from conf. call this morning :
CEO contradicted rumor which took ALA on wild ride in
Paris before NYSE open.
French press ( my reading ) was pointing to Lehman Brothers )
Newbride new 50gig ATM?IP/MLPS will be adding
a lot going forward, spacially when they ship 450 gig version with OC-192.
Entire ALA offering xDSL, is done with NN's ATM+management
platform.
NN also brought lots of LMDS contracts and techology from
Stanford Telecom.
Edge Router shipping now
5.8 million DSL this year, 12-14 next year.
Acc. to Flynn only shortage of components prevent ALA
to increase revenue further.
No overbooking!!!!
