Mtn lady,

I think that, given your knowledge and interests, you're doing exactly what's right for you. You're investing in the creme de la creme of tech for the long term and using the chart to help guide you into buys. Don't change what works.

Why would you need to know anything about a company besides the chart, ticker symbol, and the industry sector to successfully trade or invest in it? If you do a sector analysis to identify the best performing sector index charts and from there scan for the best individual stock charts in that sector you'll easily discover the right stocks to invest in. And you don't need to waste a lot of time doing fundamental research.
