There's a lot of overhead in these stocks (ie. trapped investors who just want to get out at even or close to it). I'm seeing a lot of upward resistance at key points on almost every stock I'm watching. There's not as much bounce as we're used to seeing and the action could be like this for a while unless an issue doesn't have overhead, and there aren't many that don't.

Flip side is if something was to spook the shorts you could have a extended(weeks)short covering upward movement with the semi's leading the way;but it may not happen until spring.
