russwinter:

A good analysis of the/our situation It leaves out the possibility of a rise in the POS but that seems remote and unpredictable to me.

As for picking up cheap shares that can be a good idea or bad one depending on how things work out. Flag Resources has several supporters who have been picking up cheap shares all the way from $1.25 in 1996 to 24 cents today. Lots of shares but no mine.

I agree, finding a deposit is very huge. But my argument is about the present value of money and how management maximizes that for me as a shareholder. I've never owned or been short BAY but I think they've may a few mistakes and the value has yet to materialize and now there's a question whether it ever will.

The clock is ticking on the silver price in my view as digital (film) technology is going to take some huge gains and with it the primary demand for silver. And, to India it's a hedge against the rupee.

Finding the deposit gets you to first only. Selling once the deposit is delineated is usually the best course of action. This is not Diamond Fields as this deposit can not effect the cost of producing silver materially for any of the current producers, I don't think.
