I don't know if you caught Monday Night Football, but they had a great stat (as usual - the ABC statisticians come up with amazing stats every week). Going back to the 1940s, whenever the Redskins win their last home game before the election, the incumbent wins, and when they lose, he loses. I don't know the statistical odds on such a coincidence (1 in 2^15???), but I would guess they are large.
