You can have every factor in place to indicate certain price action is a bottom, and then the bottom drops out due to exogenous forces or new information. Sometimes, it drops out just because the market becomes hostage to the whims of a few and those few decide to practice contrary opinion and sell the bottom. The result is the bottom isn't the bottom. This is the chaos of feedback mechanisms and another reason that you will never know that you have a bottom until way after the fact.
