J.Fieb, HLIT is getting back on track with the AT&T announcement. When the big roll outs of digital cable start moving, HLIT should shoot right past it's all time high. Maybe next summer.

I think the announcement between Nortel and Q-Logic, is only the beginning. The only way in my opinion to truly get the Video Internet with infinite channels of high quality streaming video, is to make it one big storage network, where everyone is connected to the Global SAN. I think that is the direction we are heading. So Optical Networks converging with FC and Infiniband to form ubiquitous SAN fabrics is the future. 10 GB FC, Infiniband, Giant Directors, closely integrated with DWDM, are the building blocks that will get the ball to start flying on this. As the storage networks and cluster networks, become a larger percentage of the overall Internet and the building blocks mentioned above start kicking into place, I think QLogic will be at the center of one hell of a tornado, and so will any good DWDM companies that support it.
