Tech rally looks sustainable near term.

It bottomed several times. Oct is over. These are the investors that are trying to beat the crowd. Once the election is finalized and we're another 5-10% higher you'll see more inflows from the people who were waiting for the bottom to be confirmed. While NT this hurts the oil patch a little in terms of competing for capital it also helps from the standpoint that a market meltdown would have taken EVERYTHING with it. Given that the DOW is moving as well and is above 10500 again I'd say this could be a strong Nov rally. In the absense of news the markets will drift higher. CSCO and AMAT still need to report but both will be positive imho.

The presidential election will most likely be positive as well. As long as we avoid Gore winning AND the Dems taking back the senate we're ok. Any other outcome and it provides positive support for the markets.

I think the Nasdaq will stall around 4300 Max and will start to get real nervous as we approach Q4 earings warning season in mid Dec.
