Dear Charles: I believe he has said that. I cant remember his exact words but it was something to the extent of lets find things we can agree on, but he would not impose his beliefs on others. What I interpreted that to mean, was that any decent person has to prefer something other than abortion, so lets find ways to lower the need for it. The only thing he stated that he flatly is against is this late term abortion unless it can be shown the womans life is in danger. JDN
