From my perspective, for the most part people on this thread are guilty of the same faults as the analyst community.

Namely, when a stock goes up, bulls actually feel better. When a stock goes down, bulls feel worse. Same thing with the analysts. CSCO is a great buy at 80, yet it is dead money all of a sudden in the 50's. For most bears on a stock, the converse is true.

Rational logic to me is the opposite. If I like a stock and am confident in its prospects, it makes me happy when the price goes down. I can buy more cheaper. When a stock a like goes up, on the other hand, it is much more stressful, particularly as the stock approaches an area where it should be sold.

michael,

I would like it much more if the rally was a bit more tempered. This is a bit much to be honest... it's not sustainable. Still I didn't much like seeing CSCO in the 40's ... glad we didn't stay there long... next week is key.
