Hi sylvester80; Re: "You would have done much better today had you bought Rambus at the open. Something like 25+% gain."

This was a pretty obvious trade, and in fact I suggested it: It is time to buy RMBS for the DCB. #reply-14693607

As long as we're talking about trading, you joined SI on Sunday, 9/17/00. The Friday before, RMBS closed at $79.50. You've lost 44% of your investment since you've been around here. You'd have done pretty well by shorting back then instead of keeping your shares. Meanwhile, you sold your AMD at a loss, but I expect to see AMD in the 30s by 6 months from now.

P.S. Maybe you should consider selling your individual stocks, and instead investing in a good mutual fund. It's pretty clear that you are letting your emotions do your stock selection for you. You were careful about holding your AMD to a reasonable stop loss, but you are letting your RMBS profits slip between your fingers in a very unprofessional manner.
