This rally is nuts....INTC expected to cut prices again says merril...no one cares...let's party....

Intel has been cutting prices every 3 months or so for years, then, when they release a new chip (P4 next month) that new family of chips goes back up to the higher prices. It's the way they keep business stimulated and fend off competition. They cut prices last quarter, business as usual, and still had GMs of 64%. They are predicting that kind of GM for all of next year also. I wouldn't be so willy nilly to comment on the way a company runs its business, unless I knew something about it.
