>>>Things just start going downhill and rapidly spin out of control!<< It's kinda like the teacher left the room and the kids are acting up. Who IS in control there??? Next they'll be throwing spitballs and shooting rubber bands and paper clips at one another. I remember when Kernan first arrived at CNBC. He was shy and retiring and very business like. As he matured and CNBC decided to let the show relax a little, which imho was a good idea, they achieved greatness and peaked about 2 years ago and then began sliding. Now it has gone too far and no one has taken it upon themselves to see that they need to adjust it a little back toward the more conservative posture. I mean, last week Kernan was talking about not wanting to wear his underwear too tight because he wanted to have a new baby boy in the family sometime in the future. What the hell does that have to do with financial news? Much of the dialogue has deteriorated to inner office drivel. I must give credit where due. There are still those at CNBC doing a not-too-stuffy cracker jack job. Bill Griffeth, Maria, Ted, Tom Costello, Bob Pisani, Steve Frank, Carl Q., etc. If CNBC just tuned up Squawk Box a little and made the overdue adjustments where necessary, all would be fine. El
