Thread-- The AMD analyst meeting is November 9 at 8:30 am, broadcast live from the AMD website. I believe this will be our first opportunity to get AMD's projections for 2001, which should hopefully lead to an ending of the negative 2000->2001 earnings growth most analysts have been projecting. (Zacks says the consesus estimate for 2000 is $2.52 and for 2001 is $2.51.) Let's also help the Mssrs. at Intel don't paint an overall bad picture tomorrow. They still have servers and notebooks and P3 chipsets to be cheerful about. I hope that's enough to make up for flaccidity on the desktop. -Eric
