Peter,

Thinking that the presidential situation will be resolved by the time the FED next meets. Thinking the data will continue to show enough slowing to cause the FED to soften its bias. Thinking bank stocks will react well to that.

Noticing that FBF is technically very oversold and right on major support levels. And noticing that it has a pretty attractive yield at almost 4%.

Along with a few other banks -- but by no means all of them -- FBF has an unusually high short ratio. Anyone know why? Some hedge play or something else?

Given the above, it seems primed for a comeback and looks attractive.
