i was just wondering why he had to wait until next year to take a loss... his club can take a loss anytime.

I heard that PTC tried to stop iMAN by offering Windchill in exchange for Pro/E Maint. Revenue and while that slowed the UGS iMAN deal it did not ultimately stop UGS from being successful. The company who was trying to give away the store was, I think, PTC and even that couldn't stop this deal. This is not first hand knowledge, but it is probably a correct reading of the situation.
