Walmart:

I have not found any PDAs in Walmart stores. I'm not sure if this is nationwide.

My thoughts on the looming news:

1) Walmart is the #1 retailer.

2) Walmart is oriented towards the value-conscious consumer.

3) Walmart will be a terrific growth engine for the sale of PDAs.

4) Microsoft PDA products are currently too expensive to be a success story in Walmart. Unless mr softee has a new economical model. I don't rule this out as a possibility. mr softee wants to increase market exposure and Walmart is the #1 retailer.

5) Judging the known facts and interpreting my optimism correctly -- Walmart will be offering a Palm or Handspring in their stores and online!
