He should. This morning he mentioned how AMCC had been "beat down" from 150 to 50-70 range. Of course he didn't seem to realize they just split.

From what you can gather, do you think Rambus will make a good buck on Pentium IV?

There will be a few million P4 systems sold with Rambus memory. I am not sure what happens when there is alternative to RDRAM. If there is an alternative, Rambus tends to lose.

In 2001, I suspect that Rambus will make most of their money on the Sony Playstations.

Yes, the same story. Sony Playstation is a captive audience.

What brings you back to the thread after 10 months absense. Do you sense some pain form those LT holders of RMBS long or some new opportunity long.

PS mymemorystore.com, a division of Samsung, lists all DDR memory as 184 pin Rambus memory. The RMBS nonRDRAM licensing agreement must already be signed by Samsung from the way I see it.
