CNN Joins the Campaign #1 “Meanwhile, the Bush campaign machine, in a possible sign of nervousness over the continued close nature of this race with a mere seven days to go to Election Day, unleashed a punishing new television ad that paints Gore as willful spinner of untruths.” [CNN, 10/31/00] So, if Bush spends any money on ads between now and election day, he’s nervous?
