any prognosis for QCOM after the earnings?
I know sales picked up in sept. in korea and SPs now have
countermeasures for the subsidy ban. also 1X has started
there. so 1X chips in volume shipping in the current quarter.

so Q is expected to meet the est.
and with possible upward guidance for coming quarters what's the upside until jan? probably mid 80's to low 90's.

what if there are any surprises? more investment in GSTRF
or something. worse yet miss by more than a penny (which
i feel unlikely). probably this stock may drop to mid to
high 50s and linger in the low 60s until better visibility.

i believe q is a must hold for long term. but it might ease the pain if we have reasonable expectation and be mentally ready for the earnings number.
