>>>A Hanaro spokesman said it had negotiated with KDDI , Japan's second-largest carrier, and Singapore Technologies Telemedia (STT) for participation in the consortium.<<<

Now we are getting some details. Is this really going to turn out the way I am thinking? We've got three operators in Korea with their heads up their collective asses and a new kid on the block comes in (with the help of KDDI) to kick out the other side?

This is unbelievable.

Anyone else have details on this new consortium?

Rick

Ben

How is it that Qualcomm can make an investment in Freetel and have no influence over their 3G selection? Irwin should be pretty pissed.
