RE: "though i do feel bad how the weak longs were tricked into selling"

What about people who had stop orders ? I mean, none of would have believed, with Rambus in the high 50's on Monday, that it would open on Tuesday in the mid 30's.

And then there may have been people who had margin calls. Hopefully, they would have had a few days to come up with the money, by which time the stock may well recover. But some may have sold shares to meet a margin call, even if they could have waited a day or two (and, certainly, not knowing that Samsung would sign last night).

Some people got hurt REALLY badly. This remains a very dangerous stock. And, more and more, we are seeing case after case that shows us that "Wall Street" is really just a dark back alley with a fancy name, but also with a lot of thugs mugging innocent bystanders.
