the NAPM numbers indicated under 50
the economy is receding
stocks dont like that

but on positive note
prices paid component went down from 58's to 56's

further economic slowdown is the risk here
the Fed is still asleep at the wheel
they apparently are willing to see the US economy rachet down
and the European economy get sicker
