GV,

You vastly underestimate CSCO's ability to boost the bottomline. All they need is to sell more stocks and I guess that the trend in the last 5-6 quarters shows that CSCO is reporting more and more interest gains each quarter. To make things intersting, the growth in interest gains far outweighs the top line growth of CSCO. CSCO, although a great company, will definitely become a victim of aggressive accounting, questionable acquisition write offs, and a slowdown in telecom spending next year. It's impossible to believe that when issues like WCOM gets a 70% haircut, it can still dump more money into CSCO's fat pocket.
