Intel does not approve dual processor operation of the celery, Elmer. I'm glad to see you take your employer's recommendations seriously.

Word is the P4 isn't approved for dual processor use either. That's probably an HVAC issue, though.

Hey Elmer: followup to SMP story this morning - Ace's Hardware downplays the SMP delay story in the Register:

"The article also mentions the 760MP's delay in passing, referring to the fact that its unlikely we'll see SMP Athlons until the middle of next year. This is not exactly new news, however, considering AMD stated they would not reach volume production with 760MP until Q2 2001 in their earnings conference call."
