yes...I actually have been trying to trade around the position. Adding to my short when it looks like it is topping out and then covering as it bases and looks to move back up. I am trying to build a nice long term short. I may have to hold some serious pain but I think amzn will go broke or at least be smashed to $5 like PCLN. 41 1/16 looks like the resistence trend line. I won't feel too good if we blow through that. I am have to cover and wait for a test of the $50 area. (that would suck for me). I will short and hold over night on the close each day. I don't want to not be short when the SEC investigation or a class action suit comes out in the news.

p.s. market showing great strenght...shaking off the bad news for wcom and the financials....all I can say is wow! It will be interesting to see what INTC has to say.

what do you think of my post election sell off theory? I think the election has been viewed by bulls as a kind of safety net for the market. It seems me that people felt the market couldn't go down hard in front of the election...that big money would hold it up. I think after the election news like we had to day will be viewed for what it is and not shaken off. NT lowered guidance, WCOM falling apart...teleco's spending going to have zero growth? ATT, Sprint and WCOM all in trouble...Small clec's in rough shape...Financials in trouble with junk bonds and lower revenue from trading and ipo's etc. Semi's cycle looking awful going forward. Internets getting killed...retial slow down. I don't see much real positive news coming. I know everyone will call me a doom and gloomer but I am just being honest. That's what I am reading and seeing.
I used to love WCOM. Thought that it had a great future. Analysts told us of 40-50% growth for years to come. Now it's just a year and a bit later from where the hype hit it's peak and the revenue growth of is around 10% and looking terrible. ATT and Sprint aren't doing any better. Do you still really think that CSCO will grow at 30% earnings for years? 40-50% revenue growth? Is it just a year away from getting smashed too?

I hope I'm not just attacked for my post and insulted. I hope that some of you would like to comment on these points. including one more big one..."equity market closed for teleco".
