The first stock that has made my cut list for the new model portfolio is TWAV. While there may be tough sailing for this stock and the sector going forward (edit: for the short term), I think this is one of the companies to own for the next 2 or so years. I'll be adding to the cut list in the future.

Brokerages still continue to downgrade semi cap equips:

08:23 ET Chip Equipment Downgrades : Morgan Stanley downgrading AMAT, LRCX, KLAC, AEIS to OUTPERFORM from
STRONG BUY.

08:02 ET Logic Chip Downgrades : WR Hambrecht downgrading Altera (ALTR) and Xillinx (XLNX) to NEUTRAL from previous
ratings STRONG BUY and BUY, respectively; firm cites potential inventory correction in the March 2001 quarter for programmable logic
chip companies
