There is not enough information in your post for me to accurately diagnose what is happening. Double check the version (Help-->About Qcharts) to verify you have 4.0.1.12, and the ContinuumClient version 2000.10.8. You should check your connection (with Ping Plotter or a similar software) to be sure your ISP isn't having trouble. While Qcharts is not running, delete the ContinuumClient.ini file, then restart.
