Samsung, the first worldwide DRAM supplier (ie the one who had the most to loose) has signed an agreement covering SDRAM and its controllers and DDR SDRAM and its controllers.
This will send a very loud and clear message to the courts you are referring to :
Patents effectively cover these technologies and Rambus is entitled to get this money

Royalties are at reasonable rates and do not endanger the activity of the licencee by the additional cost it means

That s all nothing else to understand for the judge...
I wouldn t want to be in Huyndai and Infineon shoes tonight....

The courts have to decide nothing if all the parties in question come to an agreement with RAMBUS. Then it's 400$ per share! As each little Indian falls we get closer to that objective. As the Weeny Guy would say, "That's he Rambus way you know."
