He has a block of time during 972 and 1973 in which nobody knows where he was. A $3500 reward has been offered by Vietnam Vets to anyone who saw Bush in the Air Guard during 1972. Nobody has stepped forward to claim the money. Bush never received permission to go on extended leave or to transfer to a different post. He just up and left. That means he was AWOL.
