I believe it was more of a problem yesterday because the feed was fluctuating between up and down, a few seconds at a time. Not all messages were being received, and a lot of L2 quotes were 'stuck'. We switched to the backup feed (the old 128k line), which of course has the original bandwidth issues. We are now back up on the IP feed in Boston, so I would expect the number of stuck L2 quotes to diminish (reports have also lessened in frequency). The new feed is not a 100% solution, only an improvement. The ability to mark these quotes as stale, dropping them to the bottom of the list until a new update is received from that particular MM, is being developed currently, both on the back-end and in the users interface (Qcharts).
