It is a shame Clinton was able to get a deferment. If he would not have been successful he wouldn't be living in the United States today. His fear or contempt of serving his country was so great he was evaluating other countries, including Russia, where he might live. Not serving his country in the military was a strong enough motivation that he would have left his country. What a man!
