Typical dem bs, during Nam conflict any NG not going to training & drill were subject to 45 days of involuntary active duty. This was chaged in 69 because of all the abuse to 2 years of active duty. To suggest that any ng was ever charged with being AWOL is funny , because one HAS to be on active duty to be AWOL and ng are not on active duty until their unit is called up.
