Typical dem bs, during Nam conflict any NG not going to training & drill were subject to 45 days of involuntary
active duty. This was chaged in 69 because of all the abuse
to 2 years of active duty.
To suggest that any ng was ever charged with being
AWOL is funny , because one HAS to be on active duty to be AWOL and ng are not on active duty until their unit is called up.

In the military anyone who is AWOL faces a court martial or receives an article 15. Find where he was punished with either one if you want any credibility.
