Why is it so hard to believe that different people will have different opinions?

Also, where do you see that the analysts do not believe Chambers? I have seen no evidence of that.

Mephisto, Someone's opinion about Chambers may have nothing to do with their position of whether the stock is overvalued. ML's analysts have been defending CSCO and NT constantly since late September, but that didn't stop the NT analyst from dropping his price target from $110 to $80 following earnings, similarly he had no hesitation raising it from $68 to $110 three months earlier.

XLNX is a good one for debate. This week, ML made it a Focus 1, which takes into account ML's whole universe of eligible stocks and is the list the WSJ uses to rate brokerage firm picks, but for some reason XLNX wasn't good enough last week to be included on ML's list of 10 best tech stocks.
