Meridian & Isopatch, about STXD, no I don't have any company news to explain the drop. Also don't know of any plans to list on any of the bigger boards. I wouldn't doubt it one bit if the lower valuation is a BB:OTC / thinly traded type discount. I like their expansion into deep SCR rigs and expect to hear more with their earnings.

Quehubo, where to focus money? My thoughts have been diverging from my typical contrarian slant to a more go with the flow attitude on the OSX - by that I mean shallow offshore & land drillers.

In the offshore world jackups have been the place to be and that situation isn't changed, so I really like RDC and MRL. Also like GLM for mixed jackups & floaters, with a dash of newbuilds coming on line to sweeten the pot. Don't like jackup companies SDC or COD right now as their valuation is too rich for me.

On land the story has been pretty good lately, with the exception of the Canadian drillers who are getting hurt by the wet conditions up there. Lower 48 drillers with deep SCR rigs are going full tilt. As before I like UNT, TBDI, and STXD. Almost got UNT at 13 today, missed by 1/8 which was disappointing when it popped to 14. PDS has gotten beaten up badly, and we'll find out just how badly when results are announced today. I got back into them at 28-1/8 after pulling the plug at 32-1/2. Even factoring their price by 1.5 for the Canadian dollar their valuations look good, and if they manage their acquisitions well these guys have a bright future.

I also think the workover market will be good, and have a good amount of KEG who I think are cheap right now.
