the street is clearly struggling to figure a valuation for Rambus. the SOXX has been beaten into oblivion, (the past several months) and is currently searching for a bottom. i believe we are getting close to this bottom. Rambus will rebound when investors realize that they are "throwing the baby with the bathwater". this historical pricing represented a stronger NAZ and SOXX. this is how the market valued Rambus in June after the first and second announcement. the story has changed very little since then. only the overall market conditions have declined, therefore causing multiple compressions on most tech issues. (esp. semis., and telecom) the recovery will happen, the only question is with what kind of fervor. siliconinvestor.com I thought even a blind pig could find an acorn every now and then. I guess I was wrong. The industry will work around Rambus' patents in a heck of a lot less time than 17 years. Jim it takes years of developing and testing to incorporate a new standard. what is it that you see on the horizon, that will be incorporated in less than 5 years?!? just wondering? in your zeal to hate rambus, you are missing the forest through the trees.
